Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (PCU/Stepdown)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown team. This position requires a strong background in patient care, particularly for those transitioning from intensive care environments to more stable settings.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with varying degrees of acuity.
• Monitor patient conditions and assess vital signs to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Progressive Care or a related specialty.
• Current active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with electronic medical records; Cerner experience is preferred.
• Ability to float to other locations as required.

Location

Potential assignments may include multiple locations within the region, specifically in Laconia, NH, and Franklin, NH.
