Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and clinical expertise to oversee nursing staff during designated shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring high standards of patient care are met.
• Provide support and assistance in clinical areas as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active New York State nursing license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in Step Down Unit (SCU) and Emergency Department (ED) is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Shift Information

This position is for the night shift, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
