Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Days: 7 AM – 7 PM

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required.

Certifications/Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit. The RN will be tasked with:

• Assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
• Administering IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed.
• Providing education to patients regarding their care.
• Documenting nursing actions, patient observations, and responses to treatment.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be willing and able to assume charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed. Previous employees of this facility are not eligible for consideration.

Local travelers will receive a standard local rate for this position.
