Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for individuals experiencing communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on patient needs and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about communication strategies and assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Current New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a college/university accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association with a degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is preferred.

Location

Position available in a skilled nursing facility located in New York.

Work Schedule

Full-time position; Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
