Physical Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. This position requires specific experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility and is available for Saturdays only.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy programs for residents to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall function.
• Assess patients’ physical abilities and needs to develop effective treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout the treatment process.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on how to promote recovery and maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Valid New York state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prior experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.

Working Conditions

This position will require you to work on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
