Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in a nursing home environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility and will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and rehabilitation.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the physical therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health standards.

Qualifications

• Current New York State license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.

Schedule

This position is scheduled from Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Position located in the New York area.
