Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, consulting with physicians to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Consult with physicians to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress in compliance with medical standards.
• Administer treatments utilizing various methods, including chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapy.
• Maintain accurate records in patient charts to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
• CRT and RRT licensed by an accredited governing body.
• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and successful completion of a certification exam.
• Proficient in the use of office equipment such as computers and telecommunication devices.

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

• Prolonged standing and/or sitting during shifts.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and stretching.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds as necessary.
• Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for various tasks.</li

Work Schedule

Flexibility in hours is required to accommodate early or late meetings as needed.
