Registered Nurse – Progressive Care

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Bed Capacity: 10-16 beds
• Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:4

Patient Population

The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing patients with conditions such as:

• Sepsis
• Heart Failure
• Hypertensive Emergency
• Respiratory Failure
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2)
• Substance Abuse
• Encephalopathy

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a progressive care or similar setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Contract Details

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 48 hours per week. The start date is ASAP.
