Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery (LDR)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery (LDR) to join our team. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Orientation Schedule: Virtual orientation on Monday followed by on-unit training from Tuesday to Friday.
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Requirement: Required to work during holidays, rotating as needed.
• Floating Requirement: May float to Medical-Surgical (MS) as necessary for overflow patients.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience is required.
• Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units and care for pediatric patients is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery within a rural hospital setting.
• Previous travel nursing experience is advantageous.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is highly preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current RN license.
• Advanced Heart Life Support (AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).
• Completion of a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months is required.
• Commitment to obtaining PALS certification prior to the start date is necessary.

• This is a nicotine-free facility.
• Employees will be compensated bi-weekly.
• Cancellations of shifts may occur due to low census, with a minimum of 2 hours notice provided to staff.
