Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN-OR)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Operating Room who is committed to providing high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and expertise in various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting.
• Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in medical condition.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about postoperative care and recovery.
• Participate in on-call duties, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
• High rating on skills checklist, including competence in neuro and vascular surgery.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications.
• Must have access to electronic devices for application use.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with 10-hour day shifts. Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and holidays is essential.
