OR Circulator Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated OR Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is critical in providing high-quality surgical care and ensuring efficient operating room operations.

Schedule Details

• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Orientation: Virtual orientation every Monday (8 hours, non-billable)
• Shift: Days, 4 x 10 hour shifts with variable start times
• Weekend Requirement: On-call only, from 5 PM Friday to 7 AM Monday
• Holiday Requirement: Required in rotation
• Floating Requirement: May float to procedural areas (including pain management and interventional radiology)
• On-call Requirement: 8 shifts per month, including weekends

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of OR circulator experience, particularly in orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery
  • Preferred: 2+ years of OR experience, with previous travel experience being a plus
  • EPIC experience is highly preferred
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• License and Certification:
  • Active RN license in Kansas
  • AHA BLS certification
  • AHA ACLS certification
• New Graduates: Not accepted

Additional Information

• 60-mile radius restriction has been lifted; however, local candidates may be expected to convert to permanent positions.
• This is a nicotine-free facility.
• Facility allows for 2 cancellations per month with a minimum of a 2-hour notice.
• Creds are due 1 week prior to start date (Monday).
• Payroll is processed bi-weekly.
