Registered Nurse – Infusion

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Infusion Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing infusion therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusions in a safe and effective manner.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize healthcare technologies including EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, and glucometers.
• Ensure proper usage of Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps during procedures.
• Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans.
• Perform blood product administration as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion nursing.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and may involve floating to meet patient care needs.

Location

Position available within a 75-mile radius. Local candidates will be considered.
