Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs and rhythms.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Provide patient education and support to families.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education programs.

Schedule

This position is full-time with shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, offering flexibility between 3 to 4 shifts per week. Candidates should expect to work every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Experience with Meditech software is preferred.
• Ability to float to similar units as needed.
• Completion of a telemetry test at the beginning of orientation.

Location

This position is located in Massachusetts, with assignments available in various settings across the region.
