Job Description:

The RN on the Oncology unit will provide compassionate and specialized care to patients, assisting in various treatments including chemotherapy administration. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, monitoring their condition and coordinating treatments.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Requirements:

Current BLS Certification.
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with recent experience in a level 1 or large hospital (>500 beds).
EPIC Proficiency is required.
Experience with level 1 trauma, chest tubes, and hemodialysis is preferred.
