Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in MedSurg and Telemetry for a fast-paced admission unit. This unit accommodates general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery, with a focus on efficient patient care and rapid admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a 10-bed unit, ensuring effective communication with patients and families.
• Manage a patient load with a ratio of 5:1, demonstrating the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for patient admissions and care transitions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and enhance overall unit performance.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry nursing.
• Proven track record with no gaps greater than 60 days in work history.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle a rapidly changing workload.
• Current nursing license verification through Nursys.
