Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a High Acuity Medical-Surgical/Respiratory Care Unit. The role entails providing quality care to a diverse patient population with a range of critical conditions.

Unit Information

• 20 Beds in the unit
• Patient Ratios: 1:5, sometimes 1:6
• Common Patient Diagnoses include:
  • Pneumonia (PNA)
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) exacerbations
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) Bleeds
  • Osteomyelitis
  • Diabetic Foot Infections
  • Hepatic Encephalopathy
  • Renal Failure
  • Bowel Obstructions
  • End-of-life Care
  • Wound Care

Qualifications

• Valid RN License in New Hampshire or a Compact RN License
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
• Current BLS Certification
• NHISS Certification required before starting
• ACLS Certification required
• Completion of a Dysrhythmia Exam with a preferred score of 80% during onboarding
• Skills checklist matching specialty required

Additional Information

RNs may be requested to float to multiple locations within the region as needed.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred, specifically Cerner, but not required.
