Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in MedSurg and Telemetry to join our team. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to handle a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and care options.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff as needed.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either ARC or AHA.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Previous experience with Meditech is preferred.
• Ability to float to similar units as necessary.

Schedule

This position involves a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 AM to 7 PM, including every other weekend and holiday. A telemetry competency test will be administered on the first day of orientation.
