Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg/Postpartum

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in MedSurg and Postpartum care. This position involves providing nursing care in both MedSurg and Postpartum units, with a potentially greater focus on MedSurg as needed. The nurse will work in a small rural facility and must possess prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH).

Shift Information

The shift for this position is from 17:45 to 06:00.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Manage a 1:1 patient ratio in Postpartum.
• Handle an average patient ratio of 1:3 in MedSurg.
• Occasionally take on Charge Nurse duties as required.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Certification, and NRP, all obtained through AHA are required.
• Active Kansas or Multistate nursing license required at time of submission.
• Flu vaccine is strongly preferred; exemptions are accepted, but individuals may be required to wear a mask during flu season.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

Charting System

Experience with CPSI/Perigen charting is required.

Scrubs and Attire

Any color scrubs are acceptable for this position.
