Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will have advanced telemetry experience and a solid background in acute care settings. This position requires the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care in a MedSurg and telemetry environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, including Cardizem and insulin drips for hyperglycemia.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to interpret telemetry readings effectively.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient education and family support initiatives.
• Float to other facilities within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in MedSurg and telemetry.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Ability to pass an Advanced Dysrhythmia exam during onboarding.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner, is preferred.
• Willingness to consider first-time travelers with qualifying experience.
