Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry team. This role is crucial for providing high-quality patient care in an acute care facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a MedSurg and telemetry environment.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and interpret telemetry readings accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 24 hours per week. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Massachusetts RN License.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of MedSurg and telemetry nursing experience in an acute care facility.
• Telemetry experience is required; Meditech experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
