Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a MedSurg / Telemetry unit. This unit handles the admission of general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting procedures. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care.
• Manage a patient load with a ratio of 5:1.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document updates accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurg or Telemetry specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in relevant nursing skills.
• Valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
