Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical float pool. This position requires the ability to float to various med-surg areas as needed, providing high-quality patient care across multiple units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes in condition.
• Assist in the education of patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• Active and valid nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to float to various units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
