ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care needs.

General Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs of patients.
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient history and physical examinations, ensuring timely completion.
• Analyze diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to the healthcare team.
• Complete assessments and reassessments based on patient needs and established policies.
• Formulate individualized plans of care that include discharge planning using assessment data and input from patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Develop realistic, measurable goals in collaboration with patients and their families, considering their unique needs.
• Coordinate care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience.
• Current and valid nursing license.

Schedule

• Full-time position requiring 3 twelve-hour shifts on nights.
• 3 weekend shifts are required per scheduling period.
• Floating to other areas may be required as a functional nurse.
