Allergy Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Allergy Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering patient-centered care by assessing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. This role involves a comprehensive review of patient history and physical conditions in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes.

• Review the information provided by other healthcare team members.
• Evaluate diagnostic and laboratory data and report any abnormal results to the physician and other relevant caregivers.
• Perform assessments and reassessments based on patient needs as outlined in policy.
• Formulate individualized plans of care, inclusive of discharge planning, utilizing assessment data and input from patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Initiate a care plan that addresses specific patient needs, assessment data, and the overall medical plan of care.
• Establish realistic and measurable goals in collaboration with patients and their families, considering physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age-specific, and educational needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current nursing license.

Work Schedule

This position requires full-time availability with five shifts of eight hours each. There are no weekend or floating requirements, and holiday work is necessary only as needed.
