Position Details

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday

Weekend Requirement: As needed

Holiday Requirement: As needed

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, considering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs.
• Review patient history, physical assessments, and diagnostic information, ensuring timely completion.
• Communicate abnormal laboratory results to physicians and the healthcare team as necessary.
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans, inclusive of discharge planning, utilizing input from patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Set realistic and measurable goals for patient care based on assessment data.

Qualifications

• Required: Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months.
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• License: Current Registered Nurse license in Alaska.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required.
