Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in the Emergency Room. The position involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Great Bend, KS
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 1900 to 0700
• Orientation: Virtual orientation is held weekly on Mondays.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Collaborating with medical personnel and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Floating to various units within the scope of practice as required.
• Participating in weekend and holiday shifts based on the unit’s needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience plus travel experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• Additional Requirements: Must be nicotine-free.

Compensation and Other Information

• Bi-weekly pay schedule.
• A 8-hour no-bill orientation period is provided.
• Two cancellations allowed per month with a minimum notice of 2 hours.
