Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. The role requires working every other weekend and every other holiday, with holidays assigned and rotated annually.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room RN, you will:

• Assume responsibility for nursing processes, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care within your scope of practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• May float to other units as required by patient needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing degree.
• Valid compact RN license or Kansas RN license.
• Entry-level candidates and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be obtained upon hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification to be completed within six months of hire.
