Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Nursing)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on emergency and pediatric nursing.

Job Description

• Unit: Emergency Department
• Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Block scheduling not guaranteed)
• Floating: Required
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Patient Demographics: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
• Number of Beds: 64 beds, including 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych
• Common Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
• Specialty Equipment Used: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department, with pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (to be held at time of application).
• Active and verifiable RN license in New York and all other states of practice.
• Travel experience is required.
