Job Description

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the emergency department. The department provides a comprehensive range of emergency care and includes a separate Chest Pain Center.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay
• Administering IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed
• Providing patient education
• Documenting nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the emergency department
• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be willing and able to perform charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed. Previous employees of the organization are not eligible to apply.
