Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently while providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and managing various medical equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the management of advanced critical care equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, and Impella.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and treatment plans.
• Float to other units such as Emergency Department (ED), Stepdown, and Med Surge as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in an ICU setting; CVICU experience is a plus.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license.
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS; preferred certifications include TNCC, PALS, and CCRN.
• Proficient in EMR systems, with preferred experience in Cerner.
• Ability to float to multiple locations and units as required.

Work Environment

This position requires flexibility, as floating to various units, including Behavioral Health, may be necessary. Candidates should be comfortable with a dynamic clinical environment and adapt quickly to changing patient needs.

Position available in Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH, with opportunities at multiple facilities within the region.
