Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing support to a diverse patient population ranging from high school students to the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
• Deliver manual therapy techniques focusing on outpatient rehabilitation.
• Assist in post-surgical rehabilitation programs and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Track and document patient progress using the Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Adapt to fluctuating patient care needs between swing bed and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Current PTA licensure and relevant certifications.
• Experience with manual therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of age groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
