Physical Therapist (PT) / Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with a diverse age group ranging from high school students to the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
• Deliver manual therapy techniques, focusing on rehabilitation, especially post-surgical recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans using electronic medical records (EMR).

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of patients, including those recovering from surgery.
• Comfort and adaptability in fluctuating patient caseloads, including potential coverage of swing bed patients.
