Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients’ functional abilities and limitations. This role includes implementing individualized treatment plans that consider each patient’s physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and age-specific needs. The therapist will document according to professional practice guidelines established by regulatory agencies and communicate essential patient information to ensure the best possible follow-through of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and limitations.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress as per regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate relevant information to support continuous care.
• Adapt to varying assignments related to caseload, scheduling, and staffing needs.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ensure safe delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Participate in department operational activities and required meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy.

Work Schedule

This position offers full-time hours, with options for five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday availability is required as needed.
