Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing therapy services and collaborating with local schools for pediatric evaluations. The role involves community education, participating in leadership meetings, and patient care, including collaboration with Physical and Speech Therapy departments.

Responsibilities:

• See pediatric patients and collaborate with local schools for early childhood evaluations two half days per week during the school year
• Consider job sharing with a nearby facility
• Provide community education
• Participate in leadership meetings and daily huddle meetings
• Oversee therapy scheduling and overtime
• See skilled inpatients in collaboration with PT and ST

Requirements:

• Good communication skills, team player with a professional and positive attitude
• Familiar with Cerner EMR
• Ability to optimize therapy scheduling
