Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist in Hand Therapy will provide specialized therapeutic interventions for patients with conditions affecting the hands, including splinting, neuro, and lymphedema cases. Responsible for utilizing skills in splinting and a variety of equipment to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hand therapy services to a range of patient types including neuro and lymphedema.
• Utilize and maintain equipment such as Splinting, Blood Flow Restriction, and Pool.

Requirements:

• Valid SD licensure and BLS certification.
• Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) by HTCC, may be waived based on experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and certification by the SD Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners.
• Experience in splinting and use of EPIC charting system.
