Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will evaluate patients’ functional abilities and limitations to determine if intervention is necessary. You will establish plans of care and treatment goals tailored to each individual.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to assess functional abilities and limitations.
• Determine the need for intervention and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment plans while considering patients’ physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and age-specific needs.
• Provide skilled treatment in a safe manner and document progress according to departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate relevant patient information to ensure quality follow-up care.
• Exhibit adaptability regarding assignments related to caseload, scheduling, and staffing.
• Direct and delegate tasks to achieve safe and effective patient care delivery.
• Engage in departmental operational activities and participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Meet departmental productivity standards.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification required.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, typically structured as four 10-hour shifts. Flexibility to work five 8-hour shifts may also be available. Weekend, holiday, and on-call duties may be required as needed.
