Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in performing coronary, vascular, and neuro interventional procedures alongside a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and potentially serving in a ‘Lead Tech’ capacity to assign tasks and coordinate workflow in the lab.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team to perform procedures with 2 technologists and 1 RN providing conscious sedation.
• Assist in managing airway, sedation, and cardiac drips during procedures.
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergency cases as scheduled once per week.
• Participate in weekend call once per month, from Friday evening through Monday morning.

Requirements:

• ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy certification required.
• Current cath lab experience is necessary.
• Proficiency in handling conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and balloon pumps.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
