Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist will work in a dynamic environment, assisting in a STEMI receiving facility that handles a variety of cases including cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, and neuro intervention. The technologist will work alongside a registered nurse administering conscious sedation and may rotate in charge of hemodynamics monitoring or scrubbing in on procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical duties related to catheterization lab procedures.
• Assist in monitoring hemodynamics and scrubbing for procedures.
• Participate in call rotation for inpatient and emergent cases.

Requirements:

• ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy
• Current cath lab experience and comfort with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors.
