Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist will work alongside a team of professionals to perform cardiac catheterizations and related procedures in a STEMI receiving facility. The role requires active participation in conscious sedation, airway management, and use of cardiac drips and balloon pumps.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in procedures with 2 techs, including scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamics.
• Collaborate with RNs during conscious sedation.
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases, including weekend call.
• Work with lead tech to coordinate room assignments.

Requirements:

• Current ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy certifications.
• Proficiency in cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro interventions.
• Comfortable with moderate sedation, procedural processes, and managing cardiac drips.
• Current cath lab experience with knowledge of Cerner charting system.
