Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting in procedures in a STEMI receiving facility, including cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, and neuro interventions. The technologist must have current cath lab experience and be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside another technologist during procedures; one scrubs and one monitors hemodynamics.
• Assist with conscious sedation alongside an RN handling sedation duties.
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases.
• Participate in weekend and weeknight call rotations as assigned.

Requirements:

• ARRT certification
• Your Fluoroscopy permit
• BLS certification
• Experience with cardiac drips, such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
• Competency with balloon pumps
