Medical Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. This position requires a high level of professionalism and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is from 9 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures.
• Analyze and interpret test results to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
• Document all procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and laboratory staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.
• Certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB is required.
• This position is open to Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists only; Medical Laboratory Technicians will not be considered.

Holiday Requirements

The selected candidate must be available to work during specified holidays, including:

• 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
• 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve

Location

This position is based in a facility located in a city within the region.
