Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Lab Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing point of care testing and will assist with clerical duties as assigned by nursing and laboratory management in support of operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct point of care testing
• Perform clerical duties as assigned
• Support nursing and lab operations effectively

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ASCP Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a laboratory setting
• Preferred Skills: Knowledge of point of care testing procedures

Shift: Flexibility required; position involves day and evening shifts within the specified hours.

Duration

This is a temporary position with a contract length of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension up to 26 weeks for interested candidates.
