Position Overview

An opportunity is available for a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a team in a Free Standing Emergency Room setting. This role requires a commitment to performing laboratory testing, including Point of Care Testing, and may involve clerical responsibilities to support operational needs.

Job Details

• Location: Herriman, UT
• Unit: ER Lab – Free Standing Emergency Room
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and Point of Care Testing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned by nursing and lab management to support FSED operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Required Education: MLS certification through ASCP (or equivalent); must hold a full license, not an associate’s degree.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
• Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Point of Care Testing.
