Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and ASCP-certified Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) for a temp to perm opportunity. The ideal candidate will work a weekend schedule, specifically Friday through Sunday from 6 PM to 6 AM. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses on various specimens.
• Utilize advanced laboratory equipment for testing, including:
• Siemens EXL 200 – Chemistry/Immunochemistry
• Siemens EXL w/LM – Chemistry/Immunochemistry
• Sysmex XN – 550 – Hematology
• Clinitek Status – Urinalysis
• Alere Triage Metro Pro – BNP and D-Dimer
• Hemochron Signature Elite – PT and PTT
• Nova Prime and Nova Prime Plus – Blood Gas analysis
• Blood Bank – Tube system for sample management
• Medtox – Urine Drug Screen

Qualifications

• ASCP certification is mandatory.
• At least one year of experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with EMR TruBridge is preferred.
