Medical Lab Scientist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Lab Scientist for a position focused on Point of Care Testing. This role will involve supporting laboratory operations and performing various clerical duties as assigned by the nursing and lab director.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Point of Care (POC) testing as required.
• Assist with clerical duties to support the smooth operation of the facility.

Qualifications

• MLS certification through ASCP or equivalent (ASCP (MLS, CLS, MT Medical Technologist) is required).
• Full licensure in the relevant profession is mandatory; candidates with an associate’s degree will not be considered.
• Knowledge and experience in Point of Care testing are preferred.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability to work weekends and night shifts. Specific hours include:

• Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

This position is located in West Valley, AZ.
