Job Description:

This role involves conducting patient assessments, creating and revising care plans, implementing therapy plans, and performing diagnostic tests such as ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac tests, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry. The position may include transporting patients within or between facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and create care plans.
• Perform diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, and EKGs.
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities.
• Provide on-call coverage as needed.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program.
• 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Prior use of electronic medical records preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CRT via NBRC, NRP, PALS.
