Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU

City/State: Tacoma, Washington

Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, every other weekend rotation

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 07/27/2026

Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist will provide care in a Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, focusing on patients with conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome (RDS), chronic lung disease, and those requiring surgical intervention.

Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory care using equipment such as Oscillator, Bunnell Jet, Draeger, NOx Box INO.
Perform arterial blood gas analysis using GEM and manage respiratory support systems like Bubble CPAP and HHFNC.
Document patient care in EPIC system.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in a Level III or IV NICU.
NRP, BLS, RRT certifications; WA state license required (must be in hand or proof of application from 6+ weeks ago).
Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
