Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Technologist in the Pediatric Cardiac OR is responsible for providing technical support to the surgical team within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU. The technologist will primarily work with a range of patient types from neonates to adults and will assist in various cardiothoracic procedures.
Responsibilities:
- 1st scrub role including handing supplies to the surgeon and counting instruments
- Assist with counts and the back table as the 2nd scrub role
- Assist in general OR when not busy in the CVOR
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of Pediatric CVOR experience in the 1st Scrub Role
- Required certifications include CST, BLS, and WA State License
- Experience with EMR system, EPIC
- Able to take on-call shifts with a response time of 30 minutes
