Job Summary/Purpose

The Regional Pharmacy Manager is responsible for maintaining a system of management controls to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of quality services by employees within the assigned Pharmacy Departments. This role involves assisting Pharmacy department employees and overseeing the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating of departmental functions, activities, and costs. Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medications, assessing clinical status of patients, providing drug information to the medical team, and educating patients.

The Pharmacy teams are staffed with leading experts in medication management who make informed decisions to optimize patient drug therapy.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Current unencumbered state Pharmacist Licensure required
• One of the following is required:
  • Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency
  • Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice plus one year of pharmacist experience
  • Two years of pharmacist experience
  • One year of leadership experience plus one year of pharmacist experience
• Leadership experience is required

Healthcare Provider Level BLS and ACLS are required.
