• Scheduling Requirements: Nights 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM; Evenings 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• Floating Policy: None
• Patient Experience Requirements: Hospital experience required

Certifications

• Virginia State Pharmacist license required

Position Overview

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including those with complex medical needs such as trauma, burns, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Must have experience with complex patient needs across various specialties
• Experience with Dose Edge IV and Pyxis systems preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech and Vigilanz documentation systems required

Advanced Skills Needed

• Vancomycin AUC dosing
• Aminoglycoside dosing
• Renal dosing
• Warfarin and enoxaparin protocols
• Electrolyte management
• Heparin and DOAC protocols

Procedures Performed

• IV verification
• Medication verification
• IV compounding as needed

Dress Code

Silver/purple scrubs preferred.
